Fran Isaacs Gilmore is a retired industrial hygienist who is currently teaching English to immigrants and yoga to people recovering from addiction. She also volunteers at a wildlife clinic. Her work has appeared in Charlotte Poetry Review, American Poetry, Compass Rose, Blue Violin, and elsewhere. She was also included in the anthology, We Used to be Wives: Divorce Unveiled Through Poetry. She lives near Philadelphia, PA with her husband and two cats.
